La vie d’A.J. Fikry ne se déroule pas vraiment comme il l’avait prévue, il touche le fond au niveau émotionnel et financier. Il vit seul, sa librairie vent au ralenti et son bien le plus précieux, un recueil de poèmes, vient d’être volé. Mais lorsqu’un mystérieux paquet apparaît, il se découvre vite une seconde chance à la vie, et l’amour.
